The pre morning sunlight faintly tinted the horizon a rich deep purple like the amethyst crystals from Professor Sybill Trelawney's classroom. Mist gently rose and rolled over the dark surface of the lake like the tide, disguising the dark murky depths behind a white curtain.
"Brr! Too cold, for even me!"
Ollie shivered as the sharp cold air washed over him, penetrating through his thick woollen robes and raising goosebumps across the exposed skin of his hands and arms that searched into deep pockets to remove his wand made from the hardest ebony and engraved in runes. He whispered softly and Ollies wand lit up, a small orb of blue fire burst from his wand and flowed like water into a orb to hang eerily over the boat that lay unnaturally still on the of the lake, nary a single ripple to break the perfect jet black mirror that is its surface.
*This will bring them swarming*
Ollie chuckled light heartedly, out of place in such a dark setting and braces as the water slowly bubbles. Suddenly the lake erupted and as deep golden fish flew out of the water jumping 8 ft high into the fire only to sizzle and fall onto the boat with a heavy thud. After the third landed on the boat smoking lightly the ball of fire sizzled and poped out of existence. Staring at his catch Ollie smiled smugly and pulled out a light blue cloth and proceeded to delicately wrap the fish before with another snap of his wand the boat slowly began to drift back towards the docks.
